ZRNA KAFE – COFFEE BEANS

Beans

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

Ingredients for the dough:

180 g ground walnuts
120 g of sugar
100 g of dark chocolate
180 g ground biscuits (plazma)
70 g butter
100 ml of water
2 tablespoons instant coffee
rum (optional)

Ingredients for the glaze:

250 g dark chocolate
70 ml of vegetable oil

Preparation

In a pot prepare 100 ml of water, 120 g of sugar and 2 tablespoons of instant coffee.
Place this to heat until starts boiling.
Turn off the stove and add 100 g of dark chocolate and 70 g of butter.
You don’t need to cook this but just stir to melt all the ingredients and get a fine and homogeneous mass.
In case the chocolate has not melted, you can turn on the stove again until it melts, but you do not need to cook the mass.

Transfer this to another bowl and add ta bit of rum, 180 g of ground walnuts, 180 g of ground biscuits and stir all together

Take some dough and shape it into a ball and afterwars make an oval shape of the ball. Make a small slit in the middle with a wooden stick to get the characteristic look of a coffee bean.
The amount of dough I use for each ball is 16 g.

Once you have shaped all the coffee beans leave them in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Prepare a glaze of 250 g of dark chocolate and 70 ml of oil.
Using two forks, place the coffee bean in the glaze and shake it a little bit.

Oou of this amount of ingredients I got 43 coffee beans.
